AI Doc Translator is a Slack-integrated document translation assistant from Qopywriter.ai. It translates whole documents into 100+ languages while preserving layout, formatting, images, tables, fonts, headers and footers so the translated file looks and reads like the original.

Either upload a file directly into a channel or DM the bot, or paste a web link to the document. Choose the target language and click Translate. You can also request quick text translations in a message, e.g. "Translate this text into English: [some Spanish text]".

The AI Doc Translator accepts a wide range of common formats, including Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT, HTML, SRT, VTT, CSV, XML, XHTML, EPUB, JSON, XLF / XLIFF, YML / YAML and other common file types. During processing it preserves images, inline formatting, tables and other visual elements.

Turnaround depends on file size, complexity, and current processing load. The translation completes automatically and the translated file will be posted back into Slack when ready.

Yes. AI Doc Translator preserves layout and many visual elements including images, table structure, inline formatting, fonts, headers and footers so the translated output reads and looks like the original document in the target language.

Each paid plan includes a fixed number of characters for the billing period (monthly or yearly), and translations consume characters from that allocation. If you need more translation characters, you can upgrade your plan or contact sales or support for extra capacity or a custom plan. Unused characters at the end of a billing period do not roll over.

We count characters in the translatable source text of the file: letters, numbers, punctuation, and spaces. For common file types, this means visible text extracted from DOCX, PDF, PPTX, TXT, Excel, and CSV; translatable text nodes or string values in HTML, XHTML, XML, and JSON; and caption text in SRT and VTT. Markup, tags, timing metadata, and recognized placeholders or tokens (for example or ) are typically excluded from the translated-character count when the parser recognizes them as non-translatable. Because extraction from complex PDFs or structured files can slightly alter the measured text, actual counts may vary slightly from simple estimates.

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest and handled according to GDPR and our privacy/retention policies. Uploaded files and translated results remain stored in Slack (the channel or DM where you used the AI Doc Translator) and are not kept on Qopywriter.ai servers except for brief, encrypted copies strictly needed to perform the translation - those temporary copies are automatically deleted per our retention schedule.
